We live in an incredibly complex and dynamic time for managing our water resources. Our urban areas are hit with ever-more onerous stormwater permit (MS4) conditions, and the MS4 nexus with pollutant loading restrictions imposed by Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) will further ratchet up the burden (and resulting cost of compliance).
On Monday, March 4, Andrew Dinsmore, Stormwater Team Leader at US EPA Region III, will discuss the EPA’s MS4 audit process. This is extremely important to our municipal representatives and their consultants and I am grateful that Andy is willing to make the trip down from Philadelphia to meet with us.
