The Situation

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) oversees the National Flood Insurance Program, which offers coverage to properties in communities that adopt certain floodplain management ordinances. FEMA asked GKY & Associates, Inc. to help them solve a major challenge – identifying which properties are situated within the regulatory floodplain to determine insurance eligibility.

The Solution
