The Situation

State transportation employees need training to protect the environment and meet regulatory requirements as they manage and maintain the nation’s transportation infrastructure. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) engaged GKY to develop and deliver courses that present concepts clearly, concisely and cost-effectively.

The Solution

GKY developed two courses for delivery to state transportation agencies: Water Quality Management of Highway Runoff Water Quality, and Design and Implementation of Erosion and Sediment Control.

We teach these two-day courses across the US, covering regulatory requirements, best management practices, case studies and other topics. Many of our instructors are certified by FHWA in adult education; all receive consistently high ratings.
