GKY Employees Donate Children’s Winter Outerwear to Support Local Families in Need

GKY’s Chantilly office held a month-long children’s winter outerwear drive to assist local non-profit organization Women Giving Back in its mission of: “support[ing] women and children in crisis on a first step to stability by providing quality clothing at no cost, assisted by a caring and committed community.”

“At GKY, we believe in supporting the communities where we live and work and the organizations that make those communities strong and vital,” said Stu Stein, President of GKY. “Our children’s outerwear drive was an opportunity to help a local organization serve families in need of warm clothing.”

GKY employees donated more than 300 items, including new socks and scarves as well as new and like-new coats, gloves/mittens, hats, and snow pants. Several employees also made online cash donations directly to the organization. The clothing was delivered to Women Giving Back’s Sterling, Virginia donation center.
