GKY to Provide Design and Construction Management Services For Stormwater to the City of Newport News

The GKY Team will provide general civil engineering design and construction management services in the stormwater service category to the City of Newport News under a recently awarded contract. The contract term is one year, with four additional one-year renewal options and an annual maximum value of $6M. GKY’s Team is comprised of ATCS, Engineering and Testing Services, The Miles Agency, and RES.

The contract scope of work includes a range of professional, engineering, and technical field services aimed at supporting the City’s Stormwater Division in carrying out its mission to “protect public health, safety, and the environment through the effective management, operation and maintenance of the stormwater systems, to provide vector control services designed to educate the public and to detect, reduce or eliminate potential disease carrying vectors.” Anticipated stormwater-related services may include, but are not limited to:
