Carrie Weinhold, GKY Intern May 2013- August 2013

Over the past three months, GKY & Associates has allowed me to explore many aspects of water resources engineering and environmental sciences. Tasks such as Illicit Discharge Detection and Pond Inspections have given me experience in water quality and compliance testing, as well as expose me to different engineering techniques for the control, containment, and transfer of water throughout Loudoun and Fairfax counties. GKY & Associates is an excellent company, with a very knowledgeable, friendly staff, and I thank them all for the wonderful internship experience they provided me.
