Engineering leader joins GKY

CHANTILLY, Va. (January 30, 2016) — GKY & Associates, Inc., an industry leader in water resources, announces the addition of John Paine. John will work primarily with public sector agencies to assist them in solving complex regulatory and engineering challenges.

“John is a huge addition for GKY.  He has top notch technical capabilities and has served as a trusted advisor to many Virginia municipalities in the Tidewater region and throughout the Commonwealth,” said Stu Stein, President of GKY. “He increases the firm’s stormwater service and engineering capabilities and expands our geographic reach in a growing water resources market. We are very excited to have John join the GKY team!”

Mr. Paine was previously Vice President with URS and AECOM and has over 30 years of experience in stormwater management, NPDES and VPDES permitting, stormwater master planning, Chesapeake Bay Watershed modeling, hydrology, hydraulics, GIS, floodplain modeling, and environmental permitting.
